The Lottery is only open to members of the Credit Union – it won’t make you a millionaire – but your chances of winning are better than in the National Lottery.

The total prize money varies from month to month depending on the number of tickets sold. The number and amount of the prizes is varied each month with the prize fund divided into between six and sixteen prizes ranging from £10 to £400.

Lottery Rules

  • The Lottery for members of the Bradford District Credit Union Limited is a private lottery only open to members of the Bradford District Credit Union Ltd. Juvenile members are NOT permitted to join. The Lottery will be drawn once every month.
  • Members may attend the draw by prior arrangement with the Lottery Committee.
  • Ticket numbers will be randomly selected by the committtee and will cost £1.00 each per month. A maximum of 10 tickets may be purchased by any member.
  • Prizes will be decided by the Lottery Committee
  • The winners will be advised in writing.
  • Each applicant will be issued with a card showing their ticket numbers and a set of rules.
  • Prize money will only be paid if winners are in possession of their card indicating ticket numbers and call at the Credit Union Office with their lottery card and Bradford District Credit Union membership card.
  • Winning numbers will be posted in the Credit Union Office and advertised wherever possible.
  • Members numbers will only be entered in the draw if there are sufficient funds to purchase all that members tickets.
  • A Member of the Lottery Committee will be present at every draw.
  • Tickets will only be issued to any member of the Bradford District Credit Union Ltd who has completed an application form. Once an application has been received from a member then that member will be included in any subsequent Lottery draws until that member cancels their lottery application in writing. Lottery revenue will be administered by the Lottery Committee on behalf of the members.
  • The Lottery Committee will be elected from the Members at the Annual General Meeting of the Bradford District Credit Union Ltd.
  • A Register of tickets will be kept by the Lottery Committee.
  • Any queries or complaints should be addressed to the Lottery Committee c/o The credit Union Office.
  • Tickets are not transferrable
